What we think belongs in it

This is the plan, not a finished list — which is rather the point of putting it in front of you now.

Their name, everywhere it can go

Hidden in a word search alongside their brother’s and their grandmother’s. Traced letter by letter for a child still learning to write it. Spelled the way you spell it.

Mazes that actually solve

Generated properly, with a guaranteed path from start to finish, and made harder or easier by the age you give us. A maze that cannot be solved is worse than no maze.

Colouring pages from their world

If they picked dinosaurs, the colouring pages are dinosaurs. Clean outlines, no shading, the kind a child can fill in without it looking wrong.

Counting, matching, dot-to-dot

Simple at four. Properly challenging at nine. The difficulty follows the child rather than the cover saying "ages 3–8" and meaning neither.

What would you want in it?

How old is your child, and what would actually keep them busy? If you have tried activity books before, we would rather hear what was wrong with them than what was good.

We will tell you when it is ready. Nothing else, and no charge for saying you are interested.
