Sehr tiptoed into a bright, warm clearing. The sun was setting, and fireflies twinkled everywhere! They blinked like tiny stars. Sehr gasped in wonder. 'Look at all the fireflies!' she said.

An old firefly floated down to Sehr. 'Hello, little one! We are getting ready for bed. But first, we need to slow our blinks.' Sehr watched closely, her eyes wide.

The firefly continued, 'If we blink too fast, we can’t sleep! Join us, Sehr, and count down.' Sehr smiled and nodded. 'Okay!' she said, excited.

Sehr began to count, 'Ten, nine, eight...' The fireflies blinked, blinked, and started to blink softer. The clearing was filled with gentle light.

As Sehr counted lower, she whispered, 'Seven, six, five...' The fireflies glowed dimmer. They were getting sleepy. But one little firefly kept blinking fast.
