Shreya stared up at the towering mountains, her heart racing. She knew she had to find that herb! But time was short; the festival was just days away. As she began her climb, Shreya met an old woman sitting by the path. The woman was weaving beautiful flower garlands, fragrant and colorful. ‘Where are you off to, little one?’ she asked with a kind smile. 'Up to the mountain to find the herb!' Shreya replied eagerly. The old woman nodded knowingly, 'It’s a hard path, but you must believe in yourself.'

With fresh encouragement, Shreya pressed on. The path twisted and turned, and soon she found herself in a shady grove filled with chirping birds and rustling leaves. A squirrel chattered nearby as if cheering her on. Shreya laughed, feeling brave amidst the singing nature. But the higher she climbed, the steeper the trail became.

Hours passed, and Shreya's legs grew tired. She sat on a rock to catch her breath, feeling a pinch of doubt creep in. Was she really going to find the herb? Just then, she felt a gentle nudge on her shoulder. It was a small, fluffy goat! 'Maaa!' it bleated playfully, as if saying, 'Don’t give up!'

Shreya giggled and decided to follow the goat. Together, they wandered deeper into the mountain. The goat trotted ahead, stopping occasionally to nibble on grass. Shreya felt lighter, her worries fading with every playful leap of the goat. They climbed until they reached a vast, sunny meadow that spread out like a treasure.

In the middle of the meadow, Shreya spotted something shimmering. Her heart raced! Could it be the herb? She rushed over, but found a cluster of beautiful wildflowers instead. Shreya knelt down, amazed by the vibrant colors, realizing nature had its own kind of magic. 'Maybe the herb is here too,' she thought hopefully.

As she examined the flowers, Shreya suddenly saw a flash of light on the mountain’s edge. Curious, she scrambled up to investigate. There, hidden among the craggy rocks, she found the rare herb! It glimmered like tiny stars in the bright sunlight. Shreya's heart danced with joy as she carefully picked some, knowing it would help brighten the festival.

The goat seemed to smile back, as if it understood the importance of finding the herb. Together, they made a merry team on the mountain.

When Shreya finally reached her village, the festival lights sparkled like stars in the night. The air was rich with sweet aromas, laughter, and the ringing of bells. Her heart swelled with pride as she presented the herb to the village elder. 'This will make our lights shine even brighter!' she declared.
