As Shreya arrived at the safari park, the excitement buzzed in the air. She hopped on the safari truck and felt the vibrations of the engine. The driver smiled and said, 'Hold on tight, Shreya! The wild awaits!'

Their first stop was the giraffe enclosure. Shreya gasped as she saw the long-necked giants munching on leaves. 'Did you know,' asked the driver, 'that giraffes only sleep for about 20 minutes at a time?'

Next, they visited the lion's den. The mighty lions lounged in the sun. Shreya learned that lion roars can be heard from five miles away! She imagined what it would be like to be in charge of such a powerful sound.

At the next stop, Shreya spotted elephants splashing in a waterhole. 'They are great swimmers,' the guide explained, 'but they prefer to stay close to the shore.' Shreya watched in awe as the elephants sprayed water on each other.

Suddenly, a cheeky monkey swung by, showing off its acrobatics. Shreya giggled as it grabbed a snack right out of the guide's backpack! This little monkey could have entertained her all day.

As they drove deeper into the safari, they spotted a group of colorful parrots. 'Did you know that some parrots can live up to 80 years?' Shreya learned their bright feathers were not just beautiful but also a sign of their health.

Then, with a sudden squawk, a parrot landed right on Shreya's shoulder! She laughed, feeling like she was part of the adventure. It stole the show with a silly wiggle that made everyone chuckle.

The guide reminded them that each animal has its own special story. As they continued, Shreya wondered what stories the animals could tell her if they could talk.

Suddenly, just as Shreya was deep in thought, the truck came to a slow stop. They had arrived at the meerkat exhibit! Shreya leaned forward in anticipation.

The final stop was the savannah, where a herd of zebras grazed peacefully. 'Zebras have stripes that are unique to each one,' the guide said. Shreya tried to remember each pattern, wondering how they would look if mixed together.

As the sun began to set, Shreya took out her notebook to sketch the animals she had seen. Each sketch held a memory, a little piece of the day that she wanted to remember forever.

On the way back, she thought about all the wonderful animals and their unique traits. Inspired by the Greenland shark, whose eyes stay young for four centuries, she was reminded that nature is full of amazing stories.
