Under the warm sun, Shreya packed her backpack with snacks and a camera. Today was the day for her incredible safari adventure! She couldn't wait to explore the wildlife sanctuary, where she would meet lions, elephants, and giraffes. With excitement bubbling inside her, she thought, 'What wonders will I find?'

The first stop was the elephant enclosure. Shreya watched in awe as a gigantic elephant waved its trunk, greeting everyone. Mr. Jumbo, the guide, explained, "Did you know elephants can recognize their name? They hear it and know you're calling them!" Shreya laughed as the elephant playfully splashed water around.

Next, Shreya wandered to the lion’s den. Two majestic lions lounged lazily in the shade. One of them yawned, revealing a mouth full of sharp teeth! She listened closely as the zookeeper shared, "Lions live in prides and communicate with roars!" Shreya felt the power behind the lion's mighty roar.

As she moved on, Shreya spotted a zippy little zebra prancing around. It was so lively! Its stripes sparkled in the sun as it trotted about. The guide shared, "No two zebras have the same stripes, just like our fingerprints!" Shreya giggled, imagining a zebra's fashion show.

Suddenly, Shreya noticed some unusual tracks in the mud. Curiosity sparked in her eyes. Was it a footprint? Following the trail, she discovered a small family of meerkats peeking out! They stood in a line, heads held high. Shreya whispered to herself, 'I wonder what they see?'

The meerkats caught sight of her and scampered close, chattering excitedly. Shreya knelt down, imitating their sounds. To her delight, the meerkats returned the chatter! Their playful nature reminded her of sports teams cheering each other on, and she felt part of their little family.

As the day continued, Shreya met a wise old tortoise named Terrance sunbathing on a rock. Terrance shared valuable wisdom, 'Patience, young one! It may take time, but your journey will always be rewarding.' Shreya thought of the cricket matches, needing patience to catch a tricky ball.

By midday, she reached the majestic giraffe zone. Tall and graceful, one giraffe leaned down to nibble a green leaf. Shreya grinned, imagining a giant trying to bowl a cricket ball. She chuckled, thinking about how the giraffe's long neck was like a perfect cricket swing!

Her final stop brought her to the bird aviary. Colorful birds flitted about, chirping sweet songs. Shreya had never seen such bright feathers! One parrot squawked, 'Hello, Shreya!' She gasped, amazed that the bird knew her name. Her heart swelled as she remembered the stories of animal communication.
